Beginner’s Guide – How to set up

Welcome to SaaS Insights! You’re here because you most probably have a Shopify app (or two). You’ve come to the right place!

We’ve made it super easy for you to connect your Shopify app to our insights tool. All you need to do is:

1. Sign up to SaaS Insights

Once you get to the API key screen, leave that page open because we will come back to it. Open a new tab to follow step 2.

2. Get your Partner ID & Access Token from Shopify Partners

You can find your Partner ID

1. Go to Shopify Partner dashboard, then go to “Settings“

2. Copy your Partner ID

Find your API Key (Access token)

1. Scroll down to “Partner API clients” and click on the button

2. Click “Create API client“

3. Enable all checkboxes in the red box below and enter an API client name.

4. Click “Save“
5. Copy the “Access token” key by clicking the copy button

3. Paste the Access token & Partner ID into SaaS Insights

1. Paste the “Partner ID” into the “Organzation ID” box
2. Paste the “Acess token” into the “API key” box
3. Click “Connect to Shopify“
